Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

  • 1 medium apple, cored and chopped

  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)

Directions

  • If using fresh cranberries, rinse them well. Core and chop the apple, and peel the banana if it’s not frozen.
  • Combine the cranberries, apple, banana, almond milk, honey, maple syrup (if using), cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a blender.
  • If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes.
  • Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  • Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately. You can garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top if desired.
