Brussels Sprouts Casserole with Bacon

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Time:

45 minutes.

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roast Brussels sprouts for 20 minutes.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté garlic in bacon fat, then add cream and thyme. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Stir in cheeses until melted.
  5. Combine Brussels sprouts, bacon, and cream mixture in a casserole dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Tips:

  • Roast Brussels sprouts until slightly crispy for better texture.
  • Use pre-cooked bacon to save time.
