Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain kefir (unsweetened)

  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries) – fresh or frozen

  • 1 medium banana (for sweetness and creaminess)

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Pour the kefir into a blender. Add the berries, banana, sweetener (if using), and vanilla extract.
  • Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more kefir or water.
  • If you used fresh berries, toss in the ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass. Add optional toppings like chia seeds or granola if desired.
  • Drink immediately for the best flavor and texture.
